Capitán

Having been given away for free, his new owner wasn't able to give Capitán the time and care a horse needs. He was voluntarily signed over to APAC and arrived totally neglected, undernourished and extremely skinny. Capitán was an older horse, definitely in his mid-twenties by then, but he so enjoyed being turned out with all the other horses, and made a new best friend in Taima, with whom he became inseparable.

He was a lovely boy and his last few years were happy, full of good food, love and company. We are glad we can look back and think of him in this way.
